Tromp is a New Zealander, born from a Dutch father and Lebanese mother
in 1960. Educated by the Christian Brothers he left school at 15 with
the fear of God in his blood.
Knowing building would become his saviour, he developed the capacity within his mind to imagine , design and construct concepts many times over before taking pencil to paper.This process blueprints each stage of constructionin in 3D , layering the entire project in the mind thus identifiying possible problems 4 and 5 moves down the track. At the same time it calulates the project's time duration. More recently commercial and private recording studios have become passion places for design and build projects. Now starting an innovative project in Tutukaka, Pacific Coast off Whangarei Northland New Zealand. ToePrint Project encompasses all the knowledge and passion gained over half a century of life into this home focusing on natural elements used as the base ingredient mixed with current technology to produce a sustainable building to stand as a type and model for now and on into the future, The goal is to create a toeprint as opposed to leaving a footprint.
